  Had family room carpeting installed for $2500. A 4x8 segment in the corner was obviously a remnant and was noticeably darker than rest of carpet. Told by carpet mgr that after vacuuming, the carpet would “bloom,”(?) and match the remnant. What nonsense! Customer service is poor; no follow up to see if we were satisfied or neede further assistance. Now I suppose we’ll receive an on-line apology and nothing more.

  This actually took place back in August of 2017: I was a little upset after i went in to Carpet One and asked for a price for carpet. We looked at the samples and chose one and I brought in my floor plan and had my total square footage figured out. He took my number and called me a while later....I was given a price of just over $4,000...i said "thanks but thats way too high"....i asked if he could do better and he said thats the best he could do. I decided not to check out other companies. The next day the same guy calls my phone and says he can do it for $2600...i said i was already looking at other places and waiting for quotes from those places. He called back 2 hours later with a price just under $2,000. OK...heres my problem...if you could have given me a better price, why didnt you do it from the start. Obviously you were able to make a profit at just under $2000 but you hit me at over $4000 when we started. I hate this type of game playing.
